Eastern Bee Balm - Container
Eastern Bee Balm (Monarda fistulosa) features pale lavender to pinkish-purple blooms with a charming, wildflower-like appearance. Growing up to 24 to 36 inches in height and spreading 18 to 24 inches wide, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. This perennial is highly attractive to pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, making it perfect for meadows, pollinator gardens, or naturalized areas. It’s also known for its strong resistance to deer. Regular watering is key, but Eastern Bee Balm can tolerate some drought once established. Its aromatic leaves are an added bonus for herbal uses.
